Soft Heat Infrared Sauna

For thousands of years, cultures throughout the world have enjoyed the many therapeutic benefits of saunas, beginning with the Romans, simplified by the Scandinavians, to present days Innovation of the Far Infrared sauna. Today Far Infrared Saunas (also known as Soft Heat Saunas) are recognized for the many therapeutic benefits they provide. Far Infrared Saunas/Soft Heat Saunas have shown to be effective with many health benefits including toxin removal, weight loss, pain relief, improving blood circulation, reducing the effects of aging, stress relief and much more.

Because of the level of pollution we are exposed to and its many sources, as well as poor dietary and exercise habits, the therapeutic value of regular sweating has become immense. It has benefits for both body and mind and, in fact, is the primary benefit of exercise.

One of the best passive exercises is the radiant heat of an infrared sauna which, causes a profound deep sweat. After about 30 minutes of exposure, the blood vessels of the skin dilate to allow more blood to flow to the surface to support the cooling process. The millions of sweat glands covering the body are infused with fluid from the blood. In turn, they empty to the skin's surface, thereby flushing large amounts of toxins, including toxic acids and heavy metals, from the body.

Unless you already have a very conditioned body it can take upto 5 treatments before your body starts detoxing.  When this takes place you will see a difference in the amount of sweat you have.

Why Soft Heat Saunas?

What’s so different about Soft Heat Saunas? Soft Heat Far Infrared saunas incorporates the finest quality ceramic heaters available today, using 5 different heat settings at 100% Constant Far Infrared Heat Emissions, scientifically proven to provide true far-infrared energy most effectively and efficiently.

A Soft Heat Sauna provides soothing Far-Infrared Radiant Heat constantly without interruption and does so at any temperature setting, (not just on the highest temperature setting provided.) Infrared waves are divided into 3 spectral regions:  Near, Mid and Far infrared. Anytime your heater is turning off, then on again intermittently, you are disrupting the FIR (Far Infra Red) wavelength and just getting either Near-infrared or Mid-infrared energy, and not receiving Far-Infrared which is the most beneficial to the body (and why you are more likely using a FIR sauna).

Ceramic is known and proven to keep heat at a lower and more stable temperatures rather than carbon, metal, glass or aluminum based heaters. Far Infrared energy needs to be in a particular electromagnetic spectrum. If the temperature of the source (metal rod, glass tube, or even aluminum with coated materials) becomes too high or even too low, your now receiving near or mid infrared, not far-infrared, and should a heater become too hot, the wavelength becomes only light. Then all you have is a hot metal or glass rod, which will keep the inside of the sauna warm, and not much else. This is why our cooler-running heaters are made completely of 100% Pure ceramic and then glazed over to prevent moisture from affecting the heater (the space shuttle uses ceramic tiles on it’s under-belly to disperse the heat). They are curved to disperse the Far Infrared wavelengths in 45-degree angles to envelop the entire inside of the sauna and not just straight ahead.

Why Infrared?

Technology that harnesses the sun.

Radiant heat is simply a form of energy that heats objects directly without heating the air in between. Radiant heat is also called Infrared Energy (IR), which is commonly referred to as Infrared heat (never to be confused with ultra-violet light). Our sun produces most of its energy output in the form of Infrared Energy. When warmed, the earth radiates infrared rays between 7-14 microns, which substantiates the documentation that Infrared technology derives from a naturally occurring source of energy.

The sun is the principal source of radiant energy that we all enjoy on sunny days. Have you ever been outside on a partly cloudy day when the sun is shining through. Notice the uncomfortable feeling when a cloud suddenly obscures the sun? The air temperature had not had time to drop yet you felt chilled; this is because the cloud blocked the warming infrared rays from reaching you. The infrared heat in a Soft Heat Sauna is just like the heat from our sun, or that which our own bodies produce as it burns energy to keep us warm.

It is a known fact that the internal production of infrared energy that normally occurs within body tissues is associated with a variety of healing responses. Studies have shown that infrared devices tuned to the human body emit rays that are selectively absorbed by the tissues needing a boost in their output to insure the fullest healing response possible in tissue under repair. This phenomenon is called "resonant absorption". The emitters (IR devices tuned to the human body) used by Soft Heat are so gentle hospitals use them to warm premature infants.

What are the health benefits?

Using the Soft Heat sauna has been proven to aid in pain relief, as well as increase circulation.

Soft Heat infra-red radiant heat saunas produce deep, soothing penetrating heat for the relief of arthritis, sore back, muscle aches and pains.

Heating the body stimulates blood flow... a means of "cooling down"... Increased circulation translates into higher energy levels... grater bodily healing capabilities... better overall general health.

Will I lose weight?

With the deep radiant heat, your body will sweat more than in conventional old fashioned saunas...the heat goes deep into the fat tissue... You'll experience a cleansing of harmful toxins from the body while you melt calories away. In fact, studies show that you may burn up to 600 calories in as little as 30 minutes.Great For Skin Tone Too!

Our sauna was used in the 1996 Olympics.

Our infra-red sauna was used in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia....for all the athletes.
